Digital Harmony is about John Whitney’s journey while trying to achieve harmony between sound and visual form. He was a pioneer in the field of computer animation, he was the first person to coin the term motion graphics when setting up his first company – Motion Graphics Inc.
This book is an in-depth explanation of the entire range of his work, his processes and the goals he sought to accomplish, and the inventions and results that were churned out while doing so. His art pushed the technology further and he used new technology to push his art further.
